Frimesa Integrity

At Frimesa, our goal is to nourish lives with integrity and excellence. To us, this means acting ethically and transparently at every stage of the production chain, and building fair, lasting relationships with our members, employees, and consumers.

This commitment is rooted in strong principles and values that shape our culture. To ensure these standards guide our daily work, we follow a Compliance Manual that supports our teams and processes.

Integrity is present in every product we make and in every relationship we build. We are a brand that has never deceived our consumers — and never will. Our promise is to provide safe, reliable, and honest food, reflecting the care and respect we have for our entire community.

Frimesa Code of Conduct

Frimesa’s Code of Conduct reflects the essence of the cooperative. Its purpose is to establish the ethical principles and standards of behavior that guide both internal and external relationships for everyone involved in the production chain, including employees, suppliers, and partners. All decisions should align with the attitudes outlined in this code.

Frimesa prioritizes transparency, not only within the cooperative but also in demonstrating its social responsibility to society. The Code aligns with productivity, quality, efficiency, and results, while primarily guiding the intangible values of the people who make up the organization, defining the ethical and moral standards embraced by Frimesa.

Code of Conduct for Business Partners

Frimesa’s Code of Conduct for Business Partners is designed to guide all partners on the minimum non-negotiable standards of conduct required to maintain a commercial relationship with the cooperative. The guidelines are fully aligned with Frimesa’s high standards of integrity, ethics, and social and environmental responsibility.

All business partners must operate in full compliance with applicable laws, codes, and regulations in the countries, states, and regions where they conduct business. They must also maintain all necessary licenses, permits, authorizations, and approvals to ensure the proper execution of contracted obligations in good standing and in full validity.

Commitments

Frimesa is built on solid principles and values, reflected in every action and product. Our organizational culture, guided by integrity and compliance, is evident in our relationships with all our audiences.

These commitments demonstrate our dedication to adopting the best compliance practices.

Adherence to the Business Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption (Ethos Institute): Organized by the Ethos Institute of Business and Social Responsibility, this voluntary commitment brings together private and public companies to promote a more honest and ethical market. Frimesa has been a signatory to this pact since 2023.

UN Global Compact – Brazil Network: Frimesa has been a signatory to the UN Global Compact since December 2024. Its principles are closely aligned with our business policies and practices. The Global Compact mobilizes companies and organizations to promote fundamental principles in human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption, while also encouraging measurable contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Adherence to the Brazil Pact for Business Integrity: An initiative of the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU), supported by the Council for Sustainable Economic and Social Development (CDESS) of the Presidency of the Republic. By joining the pact, Frimesa demonstrates to business partners and the public its commitment to ethics, socio-environmental responsibility, respect for human and labor rights, and other principles outlined in the self-assessment guidelines.
